Awesome SFMOMA Time-Lapse Video

Watch the new SFMOMA expansion construction, from start to finish, in this time-lapse video from EarthCam. It shows that the entire project is an impressive feat considering it arose on such a seemingly awkward piece of land, sandwiched between two existing structures.

Amazing. Certainly a clearer, fuller video compared to the six-second snippet released last year.
While the SFMOMA expansion, comprehensively covered here at Curbed SF, is a sight to behold — as well as a major impact on both the Yerba Buena neighborhood and the international art world at large — one sometimes forgets that it only takes up a deceptively small slice of a block on Howard and Third.
